As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff, our school has planned and is conducting a Reunification Safety Drill. The drill will take place today, November 20th at the Laurel Community Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those participating have already been notified, but we wanted everyone to be aware of what was happening. Students in 3rd and 5th grade, their families, as well as some NHS and Student Council students in high school, will be participating in the reunification drill with LCC staff members. While we hope we don’t ever have to reunify students in an alternative location, we always want to be prepared for any circumstances. The experience gained from this drill will allow us to review our procedures to make any needed adjustments and help train staff.
