Laurel Concord Coleridge FCCLA members competed at District STAR in Wayne on Wednesday, January 29. Both competing members qualified for the State Competition in April.

Intro to Business students learn the importance of collaboration.
Using forms of business ownership and production to build airplanes with the resources available (human and natural resources). Students first started as sole proprietors and each made their own, and then formed a corporation and built one single plane. Tested them to determine whose went the furthest, and the corporation plane won!

Congratulations to Kylla Klausen and Kassidy Koch on making the auditioned WSC 2025 Treble Honor Choir! Kylla (senior) and Kassidy (junior) will participate in the Honor Choir on Friday, January 31 with students from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. The 100+ member choir will end the festivities with a concert at 4:00PM in Ramsey Theater. The concert is open to the public. $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free.

A group of LCC High School sophomores and juniors recently attended the Youth Frontiers Character Academy Conference. During the event, students explored the importance of being fully present with those around them and how their presence can convey the powerful message, “You matter.” Activities included peer discussions, team-building exercises, and goal-setting sessions aimed at improving their ability to be present, become better listeners, and strengthen connections with others.
