Intro to Business students learn the importance of collaboration. Using forms of business ownership and production to build airplanes with the resources available (human and natural resources). Students first started as sole proprietors and each made their own, and then formed a corporation and built one single plane. Tested them to determine whose went the furthest, and the corporation plane won!

A group of LCC High School sophomores and juniors recently attended the Youth Frontiers Character Academy Conference. During the event, students explored the importance of being fully present with those around them and how their presence can convey the powerful message, “You matter.” Activities included peer discussions, team-building exercises, and goal-setting sessions aimed at improving their ability to be present, become better listeners, and strengthen connections with others.
