LCC PTO Middle School Fundraiser:
It's Penny War time at the Middle School from March 11-15! The winning class at the end of the week wins a class pizza party! If together we raise $350 or more for our PTO, Mr. Leonard will take a pie to the face! Good luck & bring your pennies!


The LCC 7th through 12th grade band members and choir members will be performing in the Pop's Concert this Thursday night, March 7th, at 7:00 pm in the main gym in Laurel. The Pop's Concert will also include the high school concert band, pep band, and jazz band. The high school band members will also perform as a percussion ensemble. There will also be various choir performances. Please make plans to attend! Your support of the LCC music program is much appreciated!

Our LCC Lego League teams had their first competition against other schools Saturday at South Sioux City. Our Lego teams performed awesome on the robotics table coming in 1st and 2nd in completing Lego missions worth specific points. Good luck at State Lego League March 15-16!



Several LCC High School Spanish Club members improved their dance moves, Friday, 23 February at Wayne State College. They were celebrating Nebraska World Language Week, Feb 19-25. The group, along with their sponsor, Jill Camargo, practiced basic salsa and merengue steps.






Thank you to Mrs. Arianne Conley for teaching our Life Skills students basic life saving skills and techniques during their WIN enrichment time! What a great opportunity to learn valuable skills that may one day save a life!


The Bears fall @ Cedar Catholic 48-45 in a hard fought battle that once saw the Bears fight back from down double digits! Thank you players and coaches for your time and dedication this season. Our Bright Horizons after-school students enjoyed Michelle Koch today from The Gathering Place in Hartington. The students were able to pick and paint a ceramic item that she will fire for them.
