➡️ Then west out of town toward Belden

Student injuries can happen any time. With winter athletics just around the corner, now is a good time to plan ahead and check your insurance coverage. Student Assurance Services is a voluntary insurance available to district families.
Just a reminder for those planning on attending State XC on Friday, tickets will need to be purchased online!

announce the 2025-26 Believers & Achievers. Believers & Achievers is a statewide program
designed to give recognition to Nebraska’s future leaders.
Beginning in November and continuing through April, the 48 Nebraska high school
seniors listed below will be honored as Believers & Achievers. From those 48 statewide
winners, eight will receive $1,000 scholarships from Currency to use for the college or
university of their choice at a scholarship banquet to be held in April of 2026.
These 48 students will be recognized at NSAA State Championships throughout the
2025-26 activities year and on a poster sent to all NSAA member schools

Fantastic job from our middle school students with our Community Outreach/Clean-Up Day painting, pulling weeds, and completing projects together . Everyone did an absolutely awesome job and did a great thing for both our school and our community!
Hands-on learning in action! Students in Fundamentals of Nutrition put their baking skills to the test, while Intro to Technology students explored propulsion with mousetrap-powered cars.

Congratulations to Ruby Tasler, LCC Middle School's Student of the Month for October! Ruby was nominated by both Mrs. Jennifer Backer and Mrs. Erica Mogensen. They had this to share: "Ruby has shown tremendous growth in language and literature, becoming more focused, responsible, and confident in her writing! She is active in cross country and band, balancing her academics and activities well. As a Circle of Friends mentor, Ruby shows kindness, empathy, and a positive attitude that brightens the classroom and our Middle School."
