On Tuesday, April 15th, the LCC Track and Field team traveled to Wayne. It was a perfect day for the track team. For the boys: Dreyson Puppe -2nd in high jump, Weston Patefield -6th in pole vault, Ian Sohler -5th in triple jump, Dayton Korth -6th in triple jump, Jayle Carpenter -5th in shot put, Dreyson Puppe -1st in the110 meter hurdles, Dreyson Puppe -1st in 300 meter hurdles. For the boys relays: Nathan Boysen, Weston Patefield, Hunter Benson, and Ian Sohler -5th in the 4x100 Relay; Ian Sohler, Carter Korth, Hunter Benson, and Josiah Tasler -6th in the 4x400 Relay; Carter Korth, Hunter Benson, Shane Langford, and Sebastian Van Drongelen -3rd in the 4x800 Relay. The boys were 5th as a team overall. For the girls: Tali Erwin -1st in high jump, Laney Folkers -2nd in triple jump, Grace Galvin -6th in the 100, Hattie McCorkindale -5th in the 200, Kate Tasler -4th in the 800, Fatih Galvin -2nd in the 1600, Justice Olson -5th in the 1600, Faith Galvin -4th in the 3200, Ava Christiansen -6th in the 3200. For the girls relays: Hattie McCorkindale, Laney Folkers, Grace Galvin, and Tali Erwin -3rd in the 4x100 Relay; Hattie McCorkindale, Tyler Recob, Kate Tasler, and Carlie Kvols -3rd in the 4x400 Relay; Carlie Kvols, Justice Olson, Tyler Recob, and Kate Tasler -2nd in the 4x800 Relay. The girls were 5th as a team overall.
