On Friday, February 7th, the LCC speech team went to Wakefield for the Sweet Meet. On the JV team: Faith Galvin placed 4th in Entertainment, Kennedy Hall placed 4th in Extemp, Stella Kock, Ava Christiansen, Mavis Jonas and Tanya Miranda placed 3rd in OID, and Ava Reifenrath placed 6th in Persuasive.
In the Varsity competition: Emma Sohler and Kolten Settje placed 4th in Duet Acting and Kolten Settje placed 4th in Humorous. The JV team placed 6th overall, and the Varsity team placed 7th.
