Five students with a camera light

Spanish students, Laney Folkers, Jayden Campbell, Koby Detlefsen, Skylar Swanson, and Spanish club president, Jackson Hall, took to the road early in the morning of November 3 to watch Edgar Rene of Justo Lamas Group perform.

The students were able to participate in the educational Spanish language performance through singing and dancing. Students have the opportunity to come on stage to compete in tongue twister competition, play an instrument in the Boricua band, or dance. LCC student, Skylar Swanson, was chosen to come on stage along with other students from other schools to show off her dance moves.

Edgar celebrates the time students and teachers put into learning and teaching Spanish language. His is a message of positivity while celebrating the learning of another culture and language.  Students later stopped at the local Mexican restaurant, El Agave to enjoy good food and relax after an energetic morning.

13 other schools were in attendance at the Central City School Performing Arts Center.
