The LCC Support Staff Member of the Year Award is annually presented to a classified staff member who is recognized for his or her dedication and commitment to the success of our students, our staff - indeed, the success of our school. Our classified staff members make significant contributions and lasting impacts on our mission of quality teaching and learning. This year’s LCC Support Staff Member of the Year is Jeff Bermel!
Jeff’s attention to detail and his knowledge and skills in a wide breadth of facility management and maintenance, while certainly impressive, pale in comparison to the pride he has for his work and for our school. As with so many others in our school system, Jeff does much of his work behind the scenes and is satisfied simply knowing that he has played an important role in our overall success. Jeff is dependable, has a good sense of humor, and shows tremendous initiative that is second to none. This past year in particular, Jeff has demonstrated his dedication and commitment to doing whatever it takes to keep our school facilities operational.
